ELLIOT LAROCQUE
Hello, I’m Elliot. I’ve been composing music for over six years and producing for two. I enjoy taking a character or setting and orchestrating music to suit the needs of the story. You can take a listen to some of the stuff I’ve done below. All original works are written, performed, and produced by me. Enjoy!
This piece is one I wrote based on a story I had recently read. In the story, a vampire had just been bitten and is introduced to a great underworld network of vampires. He struggles as he faces the sincere problems of being a vampire
This piece is inspired by the Real Book lead sheets I've been staring at for the past several months. I wanted to do my best to emulate the "jazz standard" style. Written and Produced by me. Featuring Jarrod Hangley on drums, Alexander Denison on guitars, and Mary Kate Quinlan on vocals.
After seeing similar mashups across YouTube of the Minecraft OST and Pink Floyd, I decided to throw my hat in the ring. This piece is heavily based off Pigs (Three Different Ones) from their 1977 album Animals.
This piece was written after I had listened to the soundtrack of the video game Persona 5. It’s based a lot on that kind of acid-jazz style, and has some roots in electronica as well. I’m particularly proud of the solo on this track- it took a lot of takes to get right.
This was another look into the Minecraft OST's similarity to Pink Floyd. The sound of this piece is based on the general sound of their 1975 album, Wish You Were Here, but it has more original touches than Moog City's.
A blend between hip-hop & film score, and clash between two instruments. You're never going to be able to guess what NVS stands for. And guess what? I'm not telling you.
